Reams Asset Management is a fixed income investment management firm serving the institutional marketplace.
Established in 1981, Reams manages U.S. fixed income assets for a diverse group of institutional clients, including Fortune 500 corporations, large public pension funds, Taft-Hartley plans, health care organizations, and a variety of universities, foundations and endowments.
Our goal is to provide quality investment management expertise and attentive client service in all product areas over the long term.
Reams Asset Management was established in 1981 as an independent, employee-owned investment management firm. Since the firm’s inception, Reams has managed domestic fixed income portfolios for institutional clients.
On November 30, 2010, Scout Investments, a subsidiary of UMB Financial Corporation (at that time), acquired the assets of Reams Asset Management Company. On November 17, 2017, Scout Investments was acquired by Carillon Tower Advisers, which in turn is a wholly owned subsidiary of Raymond James Financial.
Reams’ leadership team continues to manage the business in the same roles and utilizing the investment philosophy and process in place since our inception.
